Here
at Les Chaumieres Campagnardes we have outdoor facilities to
compliment your sumptuous accommodation!
The
swimming pool is 7.5m long and 3.5m wide. It does not exceed 1.3m deep in
any part. In 2009 we are fitted a new liner.
We
are working towards achieving a ‘green’ pool. The pool is filled via
our own spring fed well and all rain water is harvested for use
on the garden and helping to keep the fishing mare at a reasonable
level during the long summer months.
The
pool is heated via three solar panels and can reach temperatures in excess
of 26c ! *

The
pool area is now fully enclosed to help protect youngsters from drifting
into the pool area unsupervised. The pool and mare are
protected by padlocks.
The
keys for these padlocks will be issued to the lead booker upon
arrival.
Inside
the pool area there is a small sitting area where non-swimmers/parents can
sit and relax whilst watching their children.
Next
to the pool is a sun terrace with tables, chairs, a poolside shower and a
view over the mare so Mum can watch Dad fish !!!
*Please
note that during the winter and spring months we close the pool.

In
the rear garden you will find recliners, sun loungers, tables, playhouse
for the under 8's, boules court, hammock, chilling chair under one of
the oldest oaks in the garden, table tennis, summer house, Children's play
area with swings & climbing frames and an area set aside to
encourage wildlife, insects and butterflies into the garden.

In
addition there is badminton, cricket, darts, croquet, pitch’n’toss,
treasure hunts (under 5’s or bored adults only !) and much, much more in
the garden area.
"Push
Bikes" are also available for your use, completely free of charge.
All you need to provide is "the push" #

You will need to provide your own safety equipment and HighViz surcoat.
Also,
in the garden area is a room set up for socialising, playing games or just
for getting out of the sun for awhile.
During
the hot summer months we regularly supply chilled drinks and, if we really
like you, the odd ice lolly
